What happens when Christians own the shares

Selling a stock ends the conversation. Owning it starts one. Inspire engaged more than 1,100 companies in a single year — and several of America's largest retailers changed course.

The strategy most investors skip

Inspire built the Inspire Impact Score™, a rules-based methodology that scores companies from -100 to +100 — removing businesses tied to abortion, pornography, exploitation and trafficking, gambling and more, while rewarding companies that bless customers, workers and communities.

But the part that changes outcomes is what happens after the screen. Inspire runs a formal corporate engagement program: filing shareholder proposals, joining coalitions, and showing up at annual meetings where boards have to answer.

Documented outcomes

Inspire's 2025 Corporate Engagement Report records specific results from that work. Costco confirmed it would not pursue certification to dispense the abortion drug mifepristone. Walmart gave verbal assurance it is not dispensing the drug. Kroger reversed course and confirmed the same.

Meta ended its third-party fact-checking program and lifted certain speech restrictions following sustained engagement from Inspire and coalition partners.

None of those outcomes came from a boycott. They came from ownership — from being in the room as a shareholder with standing to ask the question.

Profit that leaves the building

Inspire donates 50% or more of its net corporate profits from management fees to vetted Christian charities through its Give50 program. The company's own margin becomes ministry funding.

“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works.”
