Why This Morning

Most of us were never taught how to think about money.

Not in school, and usually not at church either. So retirement, budgeting, giving, and what we leave behind get handled quietly—or put off entirely.

The Christian Stewardship Summit is three hours to change that. One track serves your household; the other serves those who handle a church's finances. Come to either, or move between them.

This is teaching, not a sales presentation. No products are pitched, no offering is taken, and nothing is for sale.

Choose Your Conversation

Two tracks, running side by side.

Good to Know

Questions people ask.

Is it really free?

Yes. There's no cost, no offering, and nothing for sale. Christ-Centered Investing covers the cost of the morning.

Do I have to pick a track when I register?

No. We ask so we can plan room sizes, but nothing is locked in. The rooms are next to each other and you're free to move between sessions.

Can I bring my spouse, a friend, or a group from my church?

Please do. We just ask that each person register separately so we can prepare enough seating and handouts.

Is childcare available?

No—we're not able to provide childcare for this event, so please plan accordingly. The sessions are geared toward adults.

Do I need to be a member of Oakland Church?

Not at all. Oakland Church is hosting, and everyone is welcome regardless of where you attend.

Is this a sales pitch?

No. The sessions are educational, there's no offering, and nothing is for sale. If something raises a question about your situation, we may follow up to see whether a conversation would be useful. It's always your call, with no obligation.

What if something comes up and I can't make it?

Call (814) 792-2250 so we can free up your seat.
